歩く、運ぶ、動く、繰り返すといった身体の行為と時間の経過そのものが、作品となる実践。
Elgueda Ward Studio approaches performance as embodied action unfolding through a particular place and duration. Walking, carrying, unwinding, waiting, repeating, and returning allow distance, weather, material, landscape, and time to shape what happens. These works do not necessarily take place before an audience; often the action itself is the work, later encountered through photography or moving image. Place is not simply a backdrop, but one of the conditions that forms the work.
Elgueda Ward Studioのパフォーマンスは、身体の行為が特定の場所と時間の中で展開する実践です。歩く、運ぶ、ほどく、待つ、繰り返す、戻る。そうした行為の中で、距離、天候、素材、風景、時間が、起こることを形づくっていきます。これらの作品は、必ずしも観客に向けて行われるものではなく、行為そのものが作品となり、その後、写真や映像を通して共有されることもあります。場所は単なる背景ではなく、作品を形づくる条件のひとつです。

CAMINANTES ／ カミナンテス

Two bodies move through a landscape connected by a continuous line. As they walk, distance, wind, tension, terrain, and duration continually alter its form. The action is temporary and leaves little permanent trace; what remains is the experience and the documentation made along the way.
二つの身体が一本の線でつながり、風景の中を歩きます。歩くにつれて、距離、風、張力、地形、時間がその線のかたちを変えていきます。行為は一時的で、恒久的な痕跡をほとんど残しません。そこに残るのは、体験と、その過程で生まれた記録です。
GREENHOUSE ／ グリーンハウス（温室）

Moving quickly, slowly, and silently through an abandoned, overgrown greenhouse, two people explored nonverbal communication, distance, and their relationship to one another within a rapidly changing landscape.
放置され草木に覆われた温室の中を、二人が速く、ゆっくりと、そして無言で移動する。非言語的なコミュニケーションや互いの距離、関係性を通して、急速に変化する風景を体験し記録した作品です。
CARRY FIRE ／ 火を運ぶ

A personal act performed in one of the coldest and darkest moments of the year. Before sunrise, we waited in the darkness, lit a fire, and carried it for approximately 500 meters along a canal, walking through the cold water as night gradually gave way to dawn. The act was simple: to kindle the flame, keep it alive, and carry it forward.
一年の中でも最も寒く、暗い時期に行った個人的な行為です。日の出前の暗闇の中で待ち、火を灯し、運河に沿って約500メートル、冷たい水の中を歩きながらその火を運びました。夜が少しずつ明けていく中で、火を起こし、絶やさず、前へと運び続ける——そのシンプルな行為そのものが作品となりました。

Performance Study ／ パフォーマンス・スタディ
Exploring the north shore of an island in the Seto Inland Sea at low tide with a 5,000-lumen light, we discovered purple algae living on the exposed rocks—almost invisible under normal conditions, yet intensely illuminated beneath the beam. Moving the light across the stone cliffs and shoreline transformed shadow, rock, water, and purple algae into a temporary theater revealed only in darkness.
干潮時、瀬戸内海の島の北岸を5,000ルーメンの光で照らしながら探索する中で、露出した岩に生息する紫色の藻を発見しました。普段はほとんど目に留まらないその色が、強い光によって鮮やかに浮かび上がります。石の崖や海岸線に沿って光を動かすと、影、岩、水、そして紫色の藻が重なり合い、暗闇の中でだけ現れる一時的な劇場のような空間が生まれました。
