Elgueda Ward Studio (Ximena Elgueda / Chile & Steven Ward / USA) is an art studio based in Japan since 2000. EWS collaboration includes public art, temporary installations, performances, and socially engaged art projects. Together they built onsite The Mountain Plaza Ceramic Amphitheater Art Center with 2,000 plus volunteers over 16 years.
EWSエルゲダウォードスタジオを主宰するエルゲダ・ヒメナ（チリ出身）とウォード・スティーブン（アメリカ出身）は、2000年から様々なパブリックアートのプロジェクトに取り組んできた。主な作品として「山の広場®︎」は、１６年かけ２０００人のボランティアと造った焼き物野外劇場であり、自然と溶け込みコミュニティーの一部として存在している。エルゲダ・ウォード・スタジオは、パブリックアート、インスタレーション、パフォーマンス、ソーシャリー・エンゲイジド・アートプロジェクトの活動をしている。
